Program changing win in East Lansing for #Nebraska - congrats to @CoachMiles

Great win. Perhaps you should start getting into CBB.

College basketball will always be a secondary sport but I've always been a Nebraska basketball fan.

So the news last night shows MIchael Sam getting a roaring ovation from the fans at the basketball game. Yes, the state which voted 70% in favor of banning gay marriage is suddenly convulsively screaming their approval at the gay man. The school which brought us "gay hawks", "Gay U", "Beware the Phag" is now the beacon of gay tolerance.

What was really striking on that news clip: the old fogeys in the crowd standing in approval. It was truly a Holy-Shit moment watching that, because you know a good chunk of them probably voted for the gay marriage law. The cognitive dissonance shown by the Mizzouchebags is just stunning.

Ok Fred whatever you say. Why don't you just take your congregation & go back to that hell on earth that you call home.

pb post is pb post.
First, assume something for which you have zero evidence. Then, use assumption to make disparaging remark about Mizzou.

Nebraska has a string of winnable games before they host Wisconsin, which finishes their regular season. The good news is that a bunch of their losses aren't bad (UMass, @ Creighton, @ Cincy, @ Iowa, @ Ohio State, and the two to Michigan) - Nebraska had a tough, tough schedule this year. The bad news is that the Huskers don't have many good wins - before today, their strongest victory was at home over Ohio State, with a steep drop off below that, so Nebraska doesn't have many chances to add quality wins.

The Purdue game will be very interesting. As of now, Nebraska should have a better chance of making the tournament because Purdue's best win is a pain in the rear end to find (Minnesota? West Virginia?), but they already have a victory over the Huskers, and they have several chances to pick up Top 25 wins before the B1G Tournament.

I think if they finish 10-8 in conference and win a conference tournament game they're in.

I agree. Nebraska's schedule will look very good to the selection committee. Purdue is going to have to pull off a hell of a run to get in, but if they do it somehow, they should be far from the bubble.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nebraska lost @ Illinois or home to Purdue and I don't think they will beat Wisconsin. It's still a young team. Next year will be fun they have a legit Nba player and they're getting a 4 star recruit.

Are you a Purdue fan?

No, I'm just intrigued by how their schedule lines up. The Big Ten has been very odd this season.

Some might think that it's bad policy and that marriages that are more likely to produce offspring and create traditional nuclear families should be promoted above other living arrangements. You don't have to dislike gay people to hold that view.
