I'm cackling like a supervillain at the absolute FLEECING we did to the Giants getting this guy.
Their fans on twitter are in absolute denial. Just dumbstruck. |

He played really well. Good trade so far. He's got difference maker ability.

I'm thinking after only his 2nd game as a CHIEF, he's the real deal. Bart Vatch strikes again!!

I did not have a ton of expectations for this signing but it is looking like a great bit of business. The contributions early have been solid but I think this will really come through for us in the post season and next year.

lol welp! Good prediction.
I still don't think he'll get there but I hope so. |

Man, it's early, but it sure looks like we stole this kid from NY for a ham sandwich. What the hell were they thinking over there?

In honor of KT first TD as a Chief I’d like to bless you in a special CP way.
You’re the only guy in this thread who stuffs a fish in his ass so people won’t think you’re pussy stinks. I’d rather have hope solos butthole pic as my Home Screen and let my preacher borrow my phone ,than read any more of your words. Quote:
I stand a little corrected…I saw Zach was here and he’d probably eat that fish when you’re done with it. |

If he scores more than one TD in the Super Bowl here in AZ in February I'm changing all my C's to K's until the start of training camp 2023. |

Hopefully it was just his glove. I thought I saw him shaking his finger like he jammed or dislocated it.
When he gets a little more familiar with the playbook and Juju and Mecole get healthy look at the toys we for Mahomes to play with: Kelce JuJu Toney MVS Mecole McKinnon Watson Pacheco Gray Fortson Moore Pretty crazy |

that guy is a giants fan...super interesting he used that terminology

I peeked into a NYG forum. Some of them are not happy Toney's seeing some success in KC. Some have used the word, "fleeced.":p
|
A lot of Giants fans came up to me after the trade telling me they expected Toney to go nuts in KC. I think the fanbase was expecting this.

Some interesting comments from a Giants forum…
RE: About Toney 'refusing' to play for the Giants FStubbs : 11/13/2022 7:39 pm : link In comment 15905802 ColHowPepper said: Quote: only thing I can figure is that he was 'offended' when they drafted Wan'Dale. You couldn't find two more different HCs than Judge and Daboll and two more different GMs than Gettleman and Schoen. What motivated him to go on strike vs the New York Football Giants, can't figure. I think it goes deeper than that because he behaved the same way for the Judge/Garrett/Kitchens staff. It's not the coaches, it's the Giants themselves. He never wanted to be here, that's pretty clear. Still think it was a bad trade GNewGiants : 11/13/2022 8:20 pm : link Toney was a complete dolt here however you don’t give up on talent in less than 2 years. I still say there’s more than meets the eye on what was going on. It just seems like him and Daboll were never on the same page. Daboll has been amazing but I think he got this wrong. Time will tell. It just is what it is, time won’t matter UConn4523 : 11/13/2022 8:27 pm : link something happened where he wasn’t playing here anymore. He can go on to score 10 TDs this season and it wouldn’t change that his time in NY ended. Both parties seem better off, good for both parties. I still believe John In CO : 11/13/2022 9:01 pm : link that this whole thing about not wanting to play here is due to him getting offended by all the heat he took on social media both this year and last year. The evidence has been clear since he was drafted that he lives on social media, and judging by some of the back/forth we have seen, he is SUPER sensitive and EASILY offended by criticism. I think he was turned off to the Giants fans and the Giants and couldn't wait to get out of here. And to me, the skipping in to the end zone today was basically an F you stating that his leg was never hurt in the first place. If all this is true....as soon as he screws something up in KC, same thing will happen there. RE: I don’t think he refused to play. Beer Man : 11/13/2022 9:11 pm : link In comment 15906028 mittenedman said: Quote: He did in the preseason, but my theory is Daboll and Schoenberg just didn’t want him here, it was more they didn’t trust him. I don't think that was the initial case. Back before the draft, I remember reading somewhere where the Giants indicated they would listen to all trade offers except for Toney. Its more than likely that all changed when he stayed away from the voluntary organized events. RE: It just did not work out here Red Right Hand : 11/13/2022 9:33 pm : link In comment 15905530 Lines of Scrimmage said: Quote: We may never know all the details but something was off. I was hoping to see him play the second half of the season but it just became toxic situation whatever the reason. I know **** Him is what I know. **** him. Only the Giants and Toney really know what happened gersh : 11/13/2022 10:31 pm : link But it seems clear that schoen/Daboll wanted him to work out here. Even if he was not an ideal fit - his talent is undeniable and so, of course, they wanted him here. So- Toney had his reasons to want out of here. We are Giant fans (and we finally started to win some games) so it doesn’t make sense to us |
I've heard that about the skipping but I just think it was him being tight to the sideline. Idk.

I've read that he had an ongoing spat with the NY sports media since shortly after his injury last season that blossomed into something even worse before the start of this season. Maybe that with the poor relationship with the new management/coaching staff might've been the straw . . . camel. Spent a small amount of time in NY many years ago. Their sports media can be pretty petty with their local sports figures. And Kad does come from some tiny village outside of Mobile, AL. maybe all the big city attention wasn't to his liking? Who knows. To my elder-ish eye, it looks petty, but he's a kid and this is 2022. maybe it's just the times. I just hope he doesn't turn into a POS in KC over something stupid. And that he matures into a person that wouldn't do something like that in the not-too-distant future. |
I kinda feel like there might be some smoke behind the 'social media' thing.
He does have rabbit ears online. And can't seem to keep himself from responding. But if Andy puts their foot down on that stuff, I'm betting he'll straighten up a bit. |

They vanished almost as quickly as they appeared. Seems like someone had a conversation with him pretty quickly. Frankly, if it's Mahomes and Kelce in your ear, that's probably all that needs to happen. |
