Defense is playing as good as they're able.

Offense is playing to the level of lousy playcalling.

KC_Lee 01-15-2017 08:46 PM

Perhaps more than 2 down linemen. The 2-5 formation is not working.

total fail for the O, aside from possession 1

defense should also be ashamed. PIT had to punt...? zero times?

I expected KC to lose, but not look so uninspired. Other than the first scripted play this offense is atrocious. It was a given Bell was going to get his rushing yards, but the lack of a pass rush is inexcusable.

105 yards rushing to our 20. That ain't good.

GloucesterChief 01-15-2017 08:47 PM

The song remains the same. This is what the Chiefs do, just good enough to give you hope then break your heart.

TomBarndtsTwin 01-15-2017 08:47 PM

Good god.

Outside of first offensive drive, complete dumpster fire of a first half. They couldn't have played any worse if they tried.

Only Todd Haley's dumb play calling for Pittsburgh in the Red Zone is keeping the Chiefs in this game.

Won't happen. And the "but the regular season was awesome and who are you gonna get better than Reid" crowd will have a field day

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-15-2017 08:47 PM

This is shaping up for another Chiefs ass-pull. They are getting their ass kicked in every phase, but are only down five. One play goes their way and they're ahead.

The Steelers should have put them away in the first half. They'll regret letting them hang around, as poorly as the Chiefs have played.

12-7 but it feels like 30-0....

FlaChief58 01-15-2017 08:47 PM

Well, thank God the D is keeping the from scoring tds

KevB 01-15-2017 08:48 PM

If the offensive line can't run block and now they're giving up pressure every play, we're f'd. The D did what they do, bend but don't break and get a big turnover. But if they're forced to be out there for 90 plays, of course they're going to give it up.

And maybe you'll want to get the ball to the best TE in football?

We're not going to stop Bell. Our offense needs to step the **** up and score TD's while they keep settling for FG's.

Our defense is not gonna win this game. It's gonna be up to the offense.

Jah Reid playing as an extra OL giving up the sack

We started on our 45 for the first drive, that opens things up. Our other drives have all been inside the 25, with one at the 10... The steelers have had excellent field position all night... We need to flip the field at some point.

Once again why are any of you surprised? It is the same play calling and offense we have seen for better part of 16 games.

In the off season\draft this team needs to get a stud RB and middle LB to really be a legit contender.
