Large and talented, but probably worthless.

On the first pass thrown his way, he didn't have his head around at all and it just flat hit him in the chest. He didn't even begin to raise his hands. It was pretty embarrassing.

In the end, he never stood out for anything good. Junior Hemmingway turned heads. Hell, that little Shoemaker kid got my attention a few times. Avery was easily noticed and Kelce looked good. But with Baldwin, I just didn't see anything that jumped out to me.

But for what it's worth, Bowe looked worse than anybody out there. He dropped everything. I think that viral infection really knocked the breath out of him.

But they didn't always do a great job of getting their hands on a body. I remember on one play in particular, Avery put a quick hand-check on Smith (iirc) when Smith came in for the bump and just blew past him.

And yes, Avery is fast. Alex Smith threw a ball out there for him (maybe Daniel) that I thought he had no chance on and he hit an extra gear and went out and got it for a long TD catch towards the end of practice.

I honestly don't recall seeing a WR on this team that had that ability to turn it on and separate using raw speed like that. It was incredibly impressive.

that's what a lot of folks see in Avery. He needs to put that together during regulation and on a more consistent basis, though. and then, there's the drops thing -- last season's rankings;

After the last preseason game, and hopefully after a stretch in which Bray shows some good things, we don't need to hear his name or see him again until next preseason, no matter what.

He needs time. With the Alex Smith move, we've got time. No rush. Let the guy figure it out.

This sets up perfect for a poor mans Aaron Rodgers situation. He's obviously not nearly as polished as Rodgers, but there is alot of talent there. I was reading some of the NFL Philosophy guys old tweets about Bray, he was high on him coming out this year. Said he was the best in the class and was good in the pocket and when mechanics hold up, very good.

So, with that, he needs to keep his head down and watch film, learn.

I think there is a bit of a bias here. We need to remember that. Last year Stanzi and Cassel were tearing it up in the opinion of a lot of these people currently updating us on Bray. I trust DJ's report on the situation a bit more, in all honesty. I think he's having his flashes, but we aren't being told the full story.

Still, there is some truth to what I'm posting at least.

Arm Strength; 85
Accurancy; 75
Awareness; 40

Overall; 75

Yep, during his Junior year there were hints of excellence even with the functional reerun Derrick Dooley as his HC. Added to that Dooley was too busy attempting to save his ass through the media instead of coaching Bray up. So Bray is raw, but if he cleans up his act and is serious about this opportunity then we finally have our Franchise QB.

Tyler Bray with the prettiest pass of camp. It went at least 50 yards & it fell beautifully in Newsome's contested hands. #Chiefs

My brother (who's a Niner fan) picked this up for me today at a card shop. Only 125 of these were made.

I'm surprised it was 125 for an undrafted rookie. I mean the market really went to shit for cards because so many started being made a little over 10 years ago.

Even as raw as Bray is, there's no question in my or anyone out here's mind that he looks like he'd be worth $10mil, not Daniel. #Chiefs
