On the first pass thrown his way, he didn't have his head around at all and it just flat hit him in the chest. He didn't even begin to raise his hands. It was pretty embarrassing.

In the end, he never stood out for anything good. Junior Hemmingway turned heads. Hell, that little Shoemaker kid got my attention a few times. Avery was easily noticed and Kelce looked good. But with Baldwin, I just didn't see anything that jumped out to me.

But for what it's worth, Bowe looked worse than anybody out there. He dropped everything. I think that viral infection really knocked the breath out of him.

After the last preseason game, and hopefully after a stretch in which Bray shows some good things, we don't need to hear his name or see him again until next preseason, no matter what.

This sets up perfect for a poor mans Aaron Rodgers situation. He's obviously not nearly as polished as Rodgers, but there is alot of talent there. I was reading some of the NFL Philosophy guys old tweets about Bray, he was high on him coming out this year. Said he was the best in the class and was good in the pocket and when mechanics hold up, very good.

So, with that, he needs to keep his head down and watch film, learn.

Wow, Bray seems to be really lighting it up the past few days.

I think there is a bit of a bias here. We need to remember that. Last year Stanzi and Cassel were tearing it up in the opinion of a lot of these people currently updating us on Bray. I trust DJ's report on the situation a bit more, in all honesty. I think he's having his flashes, but we aren't being told the full story.

Yep, during his Junior year there were hints of excellence even with the functional reerun Derrick Dooley as his HC. Added to that Dooley was too busy attempting to save his ass through the media instead of coaching Bray up. So Bray is raw, but if he cleans up his act and is serious about this opportunity then we finally have our Franchise QB.

I was away most of the day....how did Bray do today in practice. Haven't seen much on the twatter about him.
