Don't mind traveling, this just got all screwed up due to the storms. 4 of 5 meetings around Virginia all got cancelled. My flight from Atl to DFW was cancelled last night and that has caused a huge delay for me.

I may go to the Minute Suites for 4 hours of sleep around 11am or so. $200 is steep but I am tried as hell.

First pleasant experience flying through Houston from Cozumel yesterday. Arrived at gate E14, the walk to customs was quick and not a crowded walk, nobody was in the Global Entry line, bags took less than 5 minutes to arrive (plenty of time to pee), rechecked the checked bags (such a silly thing TSA makes you do!!!), sidestepped IAH's regular "rechecked bags" TSA checkpoint by walking toward the airport exit signs and riding the elevator up to the regular TSA checkpoint (that has TSA Pre), United Club at gate E12, and left out of gate E12. I shit on IAH a LOT, but yesterday they earned an A+ from GloryDayz...

Well I got in and out of él Sombrero without too much pain. A bit delayed in KC and again at él Sombrero, but all in all it twert terrible at el sombrero.. Now it's off to Hawaii.. Strange sitting backwards... Scho needs to fly out of Mesa--but that may be too long of a drive.

It's a great option if your flight is available out of there, even with the extra drive... reminds me of flying out of Omaha.

True. We have friends in Queen Creek and have flown in/out of that. Small--with a Panera.

We will be doing Sky Harbor and Scottsdale again for Spring break. May take a trip to Sedona for a rock tour.

Lesson learned. Never, and I mean NEVER make HNL into some kind of hub to get to better tropical pacific places unless you happen to have hotel stays (before and after the places you connected to thru HNL) built into your stay. HNL has to be one of the biggest regional (and little more) airports I've been a vicim of recently.

I may visit Hawaii again, but HNL will get never get pass-through recommendations from me.

Today was a peach. Flight to Atlanta on time, security 5 minutes and over an hour of time to kill. Sadly AA's club is not in that area as I left from the B28 gate in the international terminal and tried boarding a flight to Guatemala at Gate 26. Damn gate was on left and it look like everyone was boarding Gate 28.

Everything was announced in Spanish and all the people realized I didn't belong. ROFL
