I've been saying he has a certain aura about him, a certain something that kinda sets him apart since he first came on the scene... it almost reminded me of ours truly But its reeeally starting to feel like he's running his mouth awful strong lately, liking the smell of his own shit... its a fine line between arrogant and confident, but Mahomes pulls it off sooo much better |

Burrow is great. He's confident, he's got some swagger. Nothing wrong with that.
No, he's not Mahomes, and isn't likely to catch Mahomes, but he will absolutely be a pain in the ass for the next decade plus as long as Cinci fields a team around him. Taylor's a damned good coach, though, so you'd think they'll stay a contender. There are some punks on that team, no question, but I just don't see anything to hate about Burrow other than the fact that he was the benefactor of Mahomes' worst half of football since pee-wee league. I don't even begrudge their 'underdog, nobody respects us' stuff; I mean, everyone picked the Bills, people called them frauds, and wrote them off after the slow start. I get it. Let's just win this game, and all of that goes away. |
They are a very confident group it is obviously part of their success. They have a lot of reason to be.
Hope we take care of business and end their season. |

In a discussion of humility between him and Mahomes, there's no comparison in terms of how they comport themselves. That's all. Mahomes is flawless and Burrow is what you'd expect leading that team. So you take a guy who edges on cocky representing a team that pushes in that direction and I definitely dislike Joe Burrow. I probably hate Chase. Apple is just a complete ****ing clown. I do hate the Bengals though. |
