The fact that #Chiefs fans can't know how long to expect their general manager to be around, per team policy, strikes me as absurd.

Titty Meat 10-11-2012 02:14 PM

No way he keeps his job if this team goes 2-14 or 3-13.

Lose every game mother ****ers

So Pioli may have an extension, or he might not, and the head of #Chiefs PR tells me they won't announce it either way.

If they wouldn't announce an extension, it means it could have happened at any time and we wouldn't have known.

What if he got one after 2010?

And now he may just have a chance to get an actual difference maker at the position.

And what exactly has he shown you that makes you think that he'll actually take that shot?

FFS.....that asshole drafts QBs on the 3rd day of the draft hoping for Tom Brady version 2.0.

This is very true, although with the new rookie salary cap, had they taken either of those guys, it wouldn't have been cost prohibitive to take another stab at the position in 2013.

I just hope that the Chiefs do everything, and I mean everything, possible to nab Geno Smith.

I guess I can see the logic in that.

But still, **** him.

If this story is true, I'm sure the one major requirement is no more Matt Cassel

I understand that. He still hasn't passed up anyone who I'm all that upset about him passing up as far as QBs go. Yeah, he could/should have been more aggressive in trading up, but I think this will likely be his first real shot.

Pioli won't take that chance. This mother ****er brags about never stepping foot inside of a casino because gambling is risky **** him

And the way he did things, it still won't be cost prohibitive for him to take that stab.

He'll use his final scapegoat to stay alive. He'll say that Matt Cassel wasn't who he thought he could be.

Exactly.

I'm all in for Smith. And by all in, I mean trade the entire draft and next year's first for Smith. If Pioli had done that for Griffin, this team would be at least 3-2 and headed for the playoffs.

Who would have missed any of the draftees, especially the 3rd-7th rounders?

Hammock Parties 10-11-2012 02:21 PM

There is no purpose to an extension, QB or not.

Good coaches don't want to work with Scott Pioli.

Don't ****ing do this, Clark. God dammit.

He already did that ... about 2 weeks ago.

I've seen some dark days as a Chiefs fan, but none darker than this.
