We got the most explosive RB on the board when this pick was made anyway.

Can we all like this pick now?

He’s a bit under sized so it wouldn’t be a surprise if his pass protection needs work. You have any knowledge on that part of his game?

Ignorant shits want to attack me start a thread. Mutual respect towards posters who want to talk football and not gay sex should be shown. Having respect for grown ass men that moderate the board is also a sign of mutual respect. A couple of you have none and it’s apparent to everyone but you two offended darlings. Go start your thread bitch and stick your precious thumbs down up your nose

Not offended. I'm a big fan of getting head. Always have been. Just think you're being a hyper sensitive weirdo. And the next CP thread I see that doesn't mention gay sex will be my first.

I obviously don’t think highly of you either. Utilize the ignore button

I'm trying to catch up on him a bit.

Evidently he ran at his game weight while a lot of those guys clipping of 4.5s cut weight to run.

So his is a 'true' 4.6. That's gonna play pretty damn well.

I apparently don't know shit, so I'll just let it all play out

I just want a back with STUPID quicks and vision

Is a third rounder too much to ask?

Dylan Sampson made to much sense but alas.

Have you WATCHED any Brashard Smith video?

Our LB room had a glaring weakness in zone coverage. We just drafted a guy who previously played safety and excels in zone coverage. This is a good pick. Stop your moaning.

Really good pick. Crow should be happy.

Just got back from a day out with the littlest ones and the other half, so I'm catching up on all the goings on.

Love the pick. Had him in a mock in early April IIRC. He's a really good coverage LB. Played MLB but will be a run and hit WLB and I couldn't be more thrilled. I thought he'd go in the 4th. Feels like a major steal.

Really like this pick. Had him down as a ‘spags type’ player for a while due to his versatility.

I wouldn’t class him as a linebacker like Bolton or Tranquill. This guy is like a cross between Justin Reid and Leo Chenal.

Can hopefully address our weakness of covering TEs in the flat while also being used as a gadget in blitz - will be a solid addition

KC’s Linebacker depth has always worried me. When you’re one injury away from starting Jack Cochrane or Cole Christianson…this pick looks like a home run

DO really like the former safety aspect of his game, and running a 4.6 isn't too shabby

Once the early 2nd round run on RBs was complete, there wasn't really a RB left in the draft you could take and project as a 3-down guy. At that point you were choosing between 3rd-down types who might have some flexibility/future use as true runners (Tuten, Smith, Etienne) and more 1-2 down guys who would have to develop more as receivers (Martinez, Giddens).

I'm fine and in fact happy with landing Smith. He has to protect the football and show he can pass protect, but those things are also true of Bhayshul Tuten. If he answers those questions positively, Smith can become one of the better NFL receiving backs quickly. Like, this year quickly.

How great would it be if Bassa is a stud and Campbell flops in Philly!? Veach clowns Roseman.

That will really hurt when Nakobe Dean comes back and is never the same again.

smithandrew051 04-27-2025 10:04 AM

This is one of the most underrated picks in the entire draft

Oh I'm all done whining about RB believe me, Brashard Smith makes me feel all tingly down there/swoon
