Is Casey weigman alive? We can trot him out there and convert him to left tackle
|
I really liked this guy. His screen movement skills are phenomenal.

He really should be manufacturing evidence on another GM and owner that he can leverage to force them into a nonsense trade. I mean, if he is not, is he even trying? |

He is overrated and over the hill.

Humphries has already shown numerous times throughout his career he's injury prone as **** and Mahomes struggles mightily when he has to play behind a backup LT. That ain't changing with a rookie or Morris or whoever eventually has to fill in because Humphries got hurt AGAIN. |
He’ll regret it when the Chiefs beat the ravens in the playoffs next year. :)

Good didnt want him. Good player but he's had alot of injuries and has talked about retiring before
|
Damn... pro bowl calibre LT making less in future years, than what Jawaan Taylor will be making at $27.392 million (cap number) per year in 2025 and 2026. Thanks Beach

Guess I ran TLO outta here. I was just trying to help. He left I think. My bad.
|
Why would someone sign with another team when they could sign with the Chiefs? I don't get it.
|
Looking more and more like DJ Humphries and an upcoming draft pick are going to compete for the starting job, I really wish we could figure out LT in FA so we can draft BPA with draft picks
Really wanted the Rams LT, this guy seemed like a huge injury risk anyway I also feel if Humphries can just get in shape and be somewhat healthy, he can be trained up to be at least an average LT, that is all Mahomes really needs to be a 35+ TD QB again |
Not sad we missed on this guy, was more upset we didn't get a shot the Rams LT yeah.
Not looking great so far in FA, and everyone said Baret Vlice would be out here cooking. |

On to Robinson?

You're aware that nobody can sign any FAs outside of their own, correct? |
Think I'd take Jaylon Moore over an expensive Robinson move now. Would imagine we'll be wanting another developmental guy in the draft either way, assuming Kingsley kicks to guard permanently and Morris stays the swing.
Wouldn't hate it if we went with a RT to replace Taylor next year and give us more space to target LT in what looks a better FA. |
I'm pretty stunned he didn't test the market. He's the best LT by a lot. I'd say $20 million would have opened negotiations. It's clear he wants to be in BAL and that's a feather in their hat.

Moving yourself, your family, and changing uniforms for an extra 15% where you hate your life is pretty damned stupid. Good for him. Sounds like an adult decision to me. |

Two of those teams were offering 24 million/year. So he left 12 million on the table, at least. He must have wanted to stay in Baltimore, all along. [URL="https://arrowheadaddict.com/ronnie-stanley-was-nothing-but-a-free-agent-mirage-for-kc-chiefs-all-along-01jnxq9e14hy"] |
These highly competitive athletes would feel humiliated by running to sign with the team that always beat them in playoffs. But it’s a business so if we offered enough $ it was possible. Oh well.
What are the odds we start two young guys on left side? |

Even if it's not Robinson, it could even be Jaylon or Dan Moore. They WILL sign at least a youngish veteran as competition. Thats why I really don't understand the 'it's a bad year to need a LT' stuff. It's ALWAYS a bad time to need a LT and honestly this year has MORE options than many of them. |

WTF RHETT BLEACH?! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?!? GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS!!! |
It's going to be someone we haven't really been talking about, someone that hasn't been linked to the team in the media, and at first we'll all be like, "Huh?" And then when you think about it, you'll be like, "Oh, that makes sense."
