I still don't understand how Dalton Knecht slid to the 17th pick.
That kid just does everything you want as a complementary player. Obviously the Lakers are Anthony Davis's team at this point and LBJ is playing great ball. But the difference between the Lakers as a playoff team and the Lakers as a genuine contender would be Knecht and Reaves. If Knecht can continue to develop and Reaves can find some consistency, that team is a really tough out. Rui and Russell can't be your 3rd and 4th best players in the playoffs. Russell is wildly inconsistent (and consistently shitty in the playoffs) and Rui is just limited. But if you can get Reaves and Knecht to carry that 3rd offensive piece and the floor spacer roles, you might have something worth watching. |

And I'm well aware Bronny isn't good enough to play pro basketball at any level; I watched him more than enough at USC. There's a reason he was basically unplayable at the college level. He won't perform in the G League because the G League consists of players all far superior to him. It remains stunning that not one person in the media will address that elephant in the room, but that speaks to LeBron's influence too. |

Anyone else fed up with this injury bullshit? It’s a complete joke. Superstars show up on the injury report a few minutes before game time out of nowhere. Other guys like Embiid and Ben Simmons and kyrie have decided at times to not play because they just don’t feel like it
I’ve noticed this in the nfl a lot lately but it’s extremely bad in the nba. It’s completely unwatchable. Total dick kick to fans traveling out of town to watch games where a superstar is held out due to a hangnail. Half of the games are unwatchable because even good teams are tanking because they’re paranoid about pitch counts. How do we solve this? It annoys me more because I like betting on players and games. But it’s obviously a huge problem for the fan experience in multiple sports. |

Sad that this is what you have resorted to these days |
NBA season has been going on for a month and a half and the first time this clown shows his face coincides with LeBron having a shooting bad week (and declaring him “absolutely washed” as he averages a 20 point triple double) and yet I’m the drama queen LMAO

LeBron is a great player. He may be the greatest player of all time when considering longevity. I do think he benefits from playing in a softer era. Would he have had the same success in the 80’s and 90’s? Maybe, and I’m specifically referring to career length here. I think he could have played in those eras. That being said, I’m ready for him, Curry, and Chris Paul to step away. I’m tired of watching James be fake as ****! I’m stopped watching the NBA when flopping and load management became common place. Thank you Greg Popovich. And I miss seeing great defensive plays and emphatic dunks. The game has become boring to me. I’m a former season ticket holder.
In their prime, I’m still taking Jordan and Kobe over LeJames. |

Serious question: Is Kobe the most overrated player in NBA history? The most overrated athlete ever? Very good player (although not the best in his era and not even the best on several of his championship teams) but I honestly don’t know how he gets even thrown into this kind of discussion. Is it because he died young? He’s not even top 15 of all time and top 20 is pushing it too.
|
James is the same size as Karl Malone. James would have been developed differently in the 80s.
No ****ing way would his numbers be better. The players so much more physical. How old are you? |
I know a lot of professionals that have MJ 1 and Kobe 2.
