You could tell me your higher-end strategies such as admonishing players to "Keep Chopping Wood." ROFL |
I hate that I'm expecting the Chiefs to play down to their competition and for it to be close in the first half, but it always seems to happen. The Chiefs just don't blow out teams they should. In fact, they blow out teams like the 49ers instead.
We should still win though. |

Yeah, ok buddy. You keep on with that bandwagon. He's terrible and he acts like a little bitch, good luck with that. Other than the Zach Wilson argument on the other thread, you obviously have no idea whatsoever as to what I think about football. |

When I simply suggested that KC should be willing to tweak/adjust salary cap spend year over to increase the odds of finishing with a SB Championship you called that stupid. That tells me with regards to football strategy you are not worth talking to. |

Sorry to hear that you only acknowledge KC fans that joined when you did or earlier. I think that is backwards thinking when you have a generational talent such as Mahomes but you do you. :thumb: |

Rams are beat up. Just take care of business @ Arrowhead and move on to the next week.

A Jimmy Raye offense with Elvis Grbac/150 year old Warren Moon putting up 54 points… unreal. |
This game SHOULD be a cakewalk unless they are looking past this to the Bengals.
Rams going backwards, we are going forward. |
This would be a good week for Brittany to give birth to the Chiefs QBOTF.
Chiefs could probably win this game with Henne or Buechele. |

That is a complete dismissal of anyone that came on to KC as a fan because of Mahomes out of your mouth. |

He didn't say everybody that came on because of Mahomes had that problem. He was speaking specifically to you. |
Not gonna lie... I'll watch the game and everything, but this is the first snoozer of a game we've had in awhile. At least with the Jaguars I was kinda somewhat sorta excited to watch Trevor Lawrence underdeliver as he's done his entire career. And the Raiders are the Raiders, so ****'em.
This one... eh. Just don't freakin lose, please. |

Vegas is predicting a 14 point win for Chiefs. Would be nice if they can live up to that. We don’t need this one coming down to the wire, unless everyone really wants KC to get more practice in those super close, late game situations.

One game at a time Chiefs. Any team can be dangerous in the NFL.
Put this dog down and move forward to the next dog. |

I doubt it's a trap, Mahomes knows he hasn't beaten them, they just won the SB and if Stafford is out they'll literally have issues scoring 10 points.

Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub says CB Trent McDuffie and WR Justin Watson are receiving consideration for punt returner this week.
|
I have a novel idea, how about instead of giving a roster spot to Marcus Kemp we sign someone who at least has experience as a return man?

Whatever dude, I see what you did. :thumb: As for Meck he started the insults not me. I try to be civil with everyone on the main board. He had no interest in just disagreeing. |

The fact that Moore and Pacheco are doing returns as much as they have speaks to this team has no real return man. At this point just move on from Kemp and go sign a FA or someone off a PS that has experience as a returner, it isn't that hard. |
I know, I know, "anything can happen".
"Look at the Colts game" Blah blah blah We aren't losing this ****ing game, and we will win by at least 2 TDs. No Stafford, no Kupp, terrible OL, no running game. Zero chance we lose this one. |

Take every game seriously. The minute you don't you put up a stinker.

They just cut Darrell Henderson:

The only RBs on their roster are Cam Akers who doesn't wanna be there and Kyren Williams...they signing Gordon?

I bet the Chiefs put a claim in on Henderson.

I just posted that in reference to the idea LAR might be in the market for another FA signing. They're out of it. They aren't going to sign OBJ, or anyone else at this point. There's talk on a couple of their boards about sitting Stafford for the rest of the way. |

Seems like a strange move. Rams now have two RBs in Cam Akers and Kyren Williams.
They also have Malcom Brown on Practice Squad. |
OLB Justin Hollins is an interesting player. He has good size and speed but he's not really a tough physical player. He is 6-5, 248, 26 years old, and runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and is athletic. I think the Chiefs could develop him into a LB and special teams player, but we really don't have that need right now.
|
Didn’t cam Akers almost quit the team?

This. It could be in the realm of something that resembles competition-ish if Stafford plays. If he's out, which is likely, this is gonna be a laugher. The Chiefs all know this should be a Super Bowl rematch. They are gonna take it out on the Rams. Chris Jones gets the Rams sieve of an offensive line as he gets to share a field with the one man that can lay claim to being a better lineman that he is. I'll be shocked if the Rams score more than 10 points. |
Also, when are people going to stop confusing college football with the NFL. These guys take every game seriously. You think Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Andy Reid, etc are going to look past another NFL team?

Andy/Spags/Toub/Mahomes/Kelce/and the rest of the vets know damned well that now that they have the lead in the race for the 1-seed in the AFC, they have to stack Ws on the competition. No one wants to go to BUF in Jan. Stack 'em high as hell, and they don't have to worry about it. |
