Really? There is only one Arthur Treachery's left. It was once a chain of 800+. I would love to see a comeback. |

Edit: I know nothing of their publicity. They literally don't advertise around here as they really don't have to. |

I actually was reading about them today once researching for the polls. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/...ck-during-lent However, Nathan's Famous is trying to bring the brand back. As first, it will be a ghost kitchen operation but they are hoping to bring back free standing locations. |

If you hear anything else, please send it to me. A chain comeback is always exciting. |

But if I had the munchies and I wanted to scarf down chicken, it wouldn't be close to the top of my list. |
In KC, it's Go Chicken Go or gtfo. Honorable mention goes to Stroud's.

Chick-fil-a is the best.
Popeyes is good, too much breading. The local Wendy's kicks ass at their spicy and homestyle sandwiches. |

There's a Zaxby's near my work. When it opened it made some noise with its specials. Now it's barely an afterthought.

They are within blocks of each other and in competition so had to differ a bit.
Lot of good places in Armourdale and great Mexican grocers. Bicklemyer meats just many people are scared of the area. |
I voted Popeyes. Like the spicy plus the red beans and rice. Don't eat out much anymore.
Canes, that I had, was terrible. Never had Chik-Fil-A or whatever it is, seems like a processed chicken breast isn't real chicken. Had fond memories of Kentucky Fried Chicken before the name change. Best was Grandma's fried chicken. Cooked in lard, of course. With apple pie for dessert. Crust made with the same lard. Growing up, we had home fried chicken almost every Sunday night. Didn't have mashed potatoes, bread with home made gravy. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm... |

I'm at Canes in Westport RN!!!!

I am surprised nobody mentioned Costco roasted chicken. People stand in a line waiting for them to come out of the roaster. As fast as they are set out poof gone. It has to be one of the KC Metro evening dinner staples.

Popeyes is for white people who think southern cooking is dumping the entire ****ing spice rack into everything.
