Thank you both for the letting us know, and sharing some stories of your father. Great seeing that you all seem to care for him as much as it sounded he cared for you. It feels a bit late, but I know these things can take a while to heal, so please know that your family is in my prayers.

Very sad news. He was a nice, intelligent person who lived a full life and served proudly in the Armed Forces.

May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear this news of his passing. Sharing the memories of his life will hopefully have an impact on the younger generation in your family and people who read about him. Just like the WWII vets and Korea, Vietnam vets are now getting up there in age and we are losing them. I know it has plenty to do with sacrifice and discipline from the military and war but it’s just life experience with our elders we can and have learned from. That’s one major thing the younger generations need to work on. Listen to the stories and lessons from the elders in their family and neighborhood. Such a great resource taken for granted or even ignored.

God Bless

RIP

It's always heartwarming when a child or spouse logs on and make these kinds of posts.

The kind of post that shows you what a great Dad/husband someone was , not only just by what is said, but also in the way it's written. We are all so much more than just what we post here.

Thank you for sharing.

Godspeed to you & your family.
