they're frauds.

Brady knows it. That's why he's so pissy.

You AREN'T right.

The defense is 12th in DVOA, will be top 10 on the morrow, and it's because the defensive secondary is a MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT.

We are 16th in passing yards allowed this year. That is just below average. Far from excellent.

I totally agree. 8 days ago EVERYONE in the national media was saying "I just don't see how the Chiefs can beat the Raiders with their physical style and run game" and were picking them to win the division over us. Now it's "Well sure they beat the tar out of the shitty Raiders for the thousandth time in a row but big deal". God I hate the pundits so much.

I never said we hadn't improved from last year. Go back and read what I posted before chiming in.
I was just pointing out that the Raiders have shit or shinola at WR so people trying to judge us off of this game would be a mistake.

Battered Chief's fan syndrome.

This is a dangerous team with the best QB and TE in the NFL. Plus the defense is getting big turnovers.

That stat doesn't mean a goddamn thing.

DVOA does. And so does net yards allowed per pass play, where the Chiefs will be top 10 on the morrow.

The Chiefs have a top 10 pass defense.

Believe it.

I think maybe so. Like Pugs said...the secondary is communicating really well and playing great team D. That’s what we need to beat the Patriots. Last year we had to rely on our pass rush (which is almost always pretty ineffective against Brady)

Brady threw three (3) INTs in the AFCCG, one called back for a penalty. So yeah, probably.

I remember a couple curbstompings. One on MNF a few years back, and then opening night 2017.

Andy has, and can still, put clown shoes on a Belichick defense when properly motivated...

Brady & Co scored a whopping 9 points against the Bills early this season.

They needed a cheap shot to take out the Buffalo QB, then a blocked punt for a TD to win by 6.

Fact.

jerryaldini 12-01-2019 09:26 PM

If our O line holds up against their front 7 we should win going away. But I expect us to struggle with protection and run game again. Counting on some Andy magic to open up the offense.

Not worried about D vs their offense. Gave up 122 on 25 carries today, no big deal. Raiders run game much better than Pats.

Pat did not throw a pick in the endzone. It was Pass Interference.

Plus we had a TD called back on a bullshit holding call on a legal block.

Pats have not beat anyone this year- they are in for a beating.

So do you see is beating down the patriots like the Texans are doing tonight?

Gotta stay out of that 5 wide no back spread bullshit. I formation, pro set, 12 and 21 personnel. 22 and even 23 personnel, like today. That 3rd down off of play action from I formation 22 personnel was gorgeous because the Raider defense couldn't believe we were passing out of it. They bit so hard on the play fake...

All these defenses have studied that RPO, spread offense 5 wide shotgun stuff so much that that's what they EXPECT. It doesn't surprise anyone anymore. They're not ready for the 2 back 2 TE I formation sets.

Take it to NE and punch them directly in the ****ing mouth.

And do the same shit to the Broncos and Chargers.

Then do it to the Ravens and Bills and the Patriots and Titans and anyone else who gets in our way.

How they played TODAY is how this team will win in today's NFL. NOT with the bombs-away RPO 5 wide spread stuff.

If KC, NE and Baltimore all end up 12-4, we’re the 1 seed, right?

I doubt Baltimore loses 2 more though.

NE will.

We’re gonna dismantle them and Buffalo is going to burn what’s left to the ground.

bobbything 12-01-2019 10:40 PM

We will score at least 27. I don’t see them keeping up. I’ve watched the Pats most weeks because, well, they’re on every damn week here, and that offense is absolutely horrendous. Our defense has played so much better and so much more opportunistic.

28-17 good guys.

2 seed is a very real possibility with Buffalo also winning the East for good measure.

I said I though we would win out after we beat LA. We will be 12-4 and will end up with the 2 seed.

We would have been that way whether Houston won or not. This is about tonight's loss changing the Patriots. They will suddenly know that sleepwalking might not be enough, even if that realization was subconscious. The Patriots will bring just a little bit more against us because of tonight's loss to the Texans. Human nature.

JFC Hog - this is the problem with the battered Chief fan - we look for small victories instead of believing in the bigger goal. If the team makes beating NE the ultimate be all end all, it will ultimately fail. I’d love nothing better than to see the Chiefs roll into Foxboro and slap those assholes around, but there’s a good chance that that does not happen. So even if the Chiefs come out of New England with a loss, they still have a lot to play for and finish their last few weeks off playing some sound football and positioning themselves for a playoff run.

Actually, if we win out and Buffalo beats NE, it's possible to at least get the 2.

If we win out, we would hold tie breakers over Baltimore and NE. So, Ravens lose one, Bills beat NE, and we win out = #1 seed.

The scenario in 2006 was more improbable, and that actually happened.

I actually like the fact that they made tonight’s score close in the end. They’ll feel a lot better about themselves and won’t be as angry and determined.

Either way, they’re going down. Mahomes and Andy have been waiting all year for this. Remember all the crazy shit Andy dialed up against the Vikings? That will be nothing compared to this.

BossChief 12-01-2019 11:50 PM

There’s a reason most of the last few games have had basic play calls.

Time to put up or shutup. Jackson and Watson have now beaten Brady and Co. No excuse for MVP to go 0-3 against a declining Brady. We can't afford for the offense to come out flat against the NE defense again and for Mahomes to come out too amped up like he often does in big games.
