I wish it were Preston Smith

It will probably be Breeland or Norman though

tshull90 01-30-2018 08:53 PM

So i believe we will be getting a 2 and a 4 as well as a CB, but i can see Pryor being traded as well. So exciting! I hope we robbed them.

dlphg9 01-30-2018 08:53 PM

Lol it's a swap for Kirk Cousins and we gave him an extension. Could you imagine?!

Washington was the perfect trade partner. They knew they were going to lose out on Cousins. They needed to act and did. ****ing awesome

Happy day. Feels like we won the super bowl.

This makes me sad. I really can't put my finger on why I feel this way, but I am. Maybe it is because he has been with the Chiefs for 5 years or maybe because he just is a great person. I'm sure he will be great in Washington.

Excellent Post, especially on this night. Ha!

pugsnotdrugs19 01-30-2018 09:00 PM

Just speculating here, but I'm guessing the Skins knew that Cousins was long gone and didn't want to draft any of these rookies. Thus they may have been willing to give a lot up to lock in a QB.

Mr_Tomahawk 01-30-2018 09:00 PM

QB Alex Smith and Washington now have reached an agreement on a new four-year contract extension, per sources. Smith, who had one year left on his contact, tied to Washington for next five seasons. Smith gets long-term deal from Washington that Cousins could not.

ChiefsCountry 01-30-2018 09:00 PM

Now we know why Gruden was sucking Alex's dick more than Tigger does during the Wild Card game. Little brother wanted him.

I also don't think that's a bad gig for Alex.

I don't entirely agree that it's a good gig. The strength of that team is their receivers. Bad OL, shitty running game, injury prone TE. Average defense. Erratic head coach.

He went to a below average team in a big market that will hound him like crazy. But hey, he's not our problem anymore. I wish him the best - can't say bad things about the guy now that he's not on our team.

Great deal for everyone. Alex gets to go to a playoff contender (kinda), we get to send Alex, Tiger, and everyone else over to extremeskins, the Mahomes era begins.

I wish Alex well, he played pretty well for us and helped the team back to respectability. He always carried himself the right way and was a good leader and teammate by all accounts, a stand up guy and a professional. Wish he would have been able to take us to the promised land, but I am glad he’s landing somewhere that he still may have a shot.
