Nah, it was a good 2nd half to watch. It was frustrating at first to watch them suck the first half but the win didnt put me on cloud 9. Probably for a few reasons but my excitement level isnt what it used to be. I just dont live vicariously through sports teams like I once did.

Reid could start himself at QB and do better than Smith.

Offense was awful for sure and everyone gets some blame. Alex was erratic and made more bad throws than I think I've seen since the 2014 opener against Tennessee. But it's not on him -- Maclin dropping four passes, others who could have made plays on throws (even if a better throw should have been made).

Then there's the turnovers: The center causes the first turnover (and the points that made the difference in the game). Spencer Ware commits his first fumble at the end of a fine play. Harris drops the ball for what should have been a fourth fumble. All those turnovers seemed to happen just as momentum was about to gather -- instead the car went completely off the rails.

Bad game. Sucks for the Chiefs to lose to a good team in their house when they could have won if they had only been competent (even without Charles or Houston or our starting Guards). They'll either learn from it and win next week or they won't.

Was happy to see the defense got its stuff together. Feel better that we can hang with anyone and love some of the players we're starting to see really produce.

Chiefs should trade Smith and Foles to Carolina for Cam. Cuz that has about as much chance of happening as Smith being benched.

Alex should been benched today. Foles should have gone in.

You don't switch QBs like that unless the starter is RG3. Reid is the problem, not Smith.

Reid is more of the problem, sure, but Alex did not show what it takes to justify being out there on a regular basis (talking JUST TODAY).

If I were Andy, I'd have pulled Alex aside privately before the 3rd Q and asked him, "you want to play today? because you don't look like you do so far."

Smith's fumble late in the half was the act of a rookie QB. It didn't end up giving HOU points, but it could have. It also made it official that we weren't getting any points.

Play Foles the rest of the game, absolutely.

It doesn't matter. Our WR's are shit (again) and our O-line is shit (again). The only real thing that needs to be changed is our owner and front office.

Are you serious? The ol and WRs are the last people I'd blame for this shit show. Shitty mistakes by ware, Smith, knile, and colquitt. Horrendous play calling that's ridiculously conservative even down 3 tds. Alex refusing to press until we're down by 29.

Its what I've been saying all season long. Our defense isn't going to carry the team every game. Our offense has to come out swinging expecting to win in the 20s and 30s. This is the third game this season where our offense not only looked flat, they've looked ****ing awful. There's too much talent on that side of the ball to make excuses for Reid and Smith.

I think the WR's are better this season, but the OL isn't as good as we all thought it would be - at least right now anyway. And Smith has regressed and Reid's play-calling is still pretty bad.

Sure seems like it this year more than in past years.

Nobody could do worse than Smith. The team doesn't score so how could Foles or Bray do worse? They have bigger arms and would do wonders for the offense just by taking a few shots.
