He's been crappy all season for the most part. Moose and Perez are about the only guys that have been consistent this season. Everyone else has had some bad lapses be it Hosmer forgetting how many outs there were multiple times to K-Mo sucking with RISP to Omar\Esky not turning routine DP's to Alice being a strikeout machine....

I'd almost pull Cain for the night and put Dyson in...something just ain't right with him

Medlen\Pen allow 1 hit on Friday and we lose 1-0

Tonight Eddie had the 2-run 1st inning but has sat ****ers down since and here we are in the 7th still losing 2-0

Great outing for Eddie other than the first inning.

Really, a hell of a nice game for Eddi. Solid 7 innings of work. Too bad our bats have AIDS.

all in all a great game for Eddie..he does't deserve a loss..this offense needs to quit trying to hit 5-run HR's and just go do what they do best

I'm concerned. I know our 2014 offense was bad, but I can't remember it being THIS bad.

It was definitely this bad. Hos and Moose were pretty much albatross' during the season and Butler clogged up our DH role for the whole year. Nori was horrendous until September and Infante was Infante for the entire season. People forget that it was actually fantastic starting pitching that carried us through the year.

With Ned leaving out Volquez for an inning too long, this certainly feels like a bizarro 13-14 game.

There was a time when Ned openly talked about wanting to give his starters opportunities to pick up that "win"

The only decision I had a problem with last year was putting Madson in the 8th inning of the ALCS. Otherwise Ned was fire.

I like the Duffy we've been seeing lately.

Love seeing Danny trust his heat. Striking out Harper is no easy feat.

There were countless games the last two seasons where the offense was silent and the end results have been good. We have had plenty of baserunners but the hits just aren't coming in a timely fashion. We have seen plenty of tough luck outs recently that are runs if the ball is a few feet in a different direction.

Duffy's starting to figure it out I think. Wonder if they'll be tempted to try him in the rotation at all.

Cain and Gordo are due to bounce back. I think Esky will eventually have to be moved to the bottom of the lineup (protest errors be damned), but the offense certainly shouldn't be [i]this bad[/]

If our starting pitching continues to hold up, this is easily a 90 win team.
