I can't remember a team bumble their way into the one seed by having the stars align just perfectly as they did for the 2015 Broncos. The closest comparison I can think of is the Chiefs sneaking into the wild card in 2006. By all accounts, they should have been a 9-7 team.

Not arguing the Pitt game, but you won't convince anyone that the 2015 season has had a real flukey feel for the Broncos so far. A very fool's gold feel.....
