I have been reading about a drink called Sangrita (yes, not Sangria). Good paired with tequila supposedly. Serve shot of both to sip on together and it's supposed to enhance the flavor of tequila and cleanse palate between sips.

Core Brewing out of Springdale AR has a great Pilsner called Bohemian.

I have it on tap (5.5gal) and hope to not kill it before this game is over.

Sangrita with tequila is pure win.

Just aqua today, maybe a diet ginger ale later.

2 parts scotch or bourbon (bourbon in my case because that is what I have)
1 part amaretto

Like a michelada, you'll get different variations in different regions of Mexico. I make a simple one with tomato, orange, lime juice with Maggi (Mexican worscht) and keep it in an old water bottle in the fridge. Sip as a sidecar.

It's a fantastic drink. Popular during the 70s. I am a bourbon man but, I think I actually prefer this with scotch. Not that it's bad with bourbon. In fact I think I'm going to fix myself another. :)

I usually hate soda but I've been drinking the San Pellegrino Blood Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit sodas recently. Giant has them on sale 10/$10

I never drink pop unless I am drinking and I've never had the San Pellegrino until yesterday. My friend suggested whiskey and the lemon one which was great. We also got the Blood Orange and that was awesome too! I don't usually drink things with sugar but on the occasions I do, these are definitely near the top of the list for awesome.

Blood orange is the goods. Most of my citrus is still green, hoping the rain speeds it along.
Side note: my device tried to correct "citrus" into "clitoris"...

Never seen a green clitoris but I am hoping that's an easy fix.

And enough with this ****ing rain already!

To celebrate last nights win - despite unreasonable doctor's orders, about half-a-teaspoon of 'Wild Turkey Rare Breed' 108 proof bourbon.

Havent had a drop of alcohol during the week for three weeks now, feeling so much better for it.

Having said that, gonna get my drink on tonight with the usual beer and vodka.

I just found a bottle of 4oz Aromatic Bitters in my pantry that I didn't remember buying.
