Wouldn't mind seeing them mix in a little Franklin here and there.

Overthrown yes

But Cassel couldn't put that much zip on a ball in his dreams

Tits McGee 10-16-2010 11:14 AM

nice

Coach 10-16-2010 11:14 AM

Nice play. Missouri is just shredding that aTm defense.

Coach 10-16-2010 11:14 AM

Touchdown.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:14 AM

AMAZING throw and catch there.

Gabbert floated that thing right in there and Kemp gave up his body for it. Perfect execution downfield.

And very nice run-blocking for the score.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:14 AM

Kick it.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:15 AM

Looks like their D is completely gassed. Yost or no Yost, I think we're in good shape for today.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:15 AM

He even sailed that throw to Kemp.

KcMizzou 10-16-2010 11:16 AM

Egnew looks like an NFL TE. And wow, where did this D come from?

13-0 So far so good.

I think that CB may be done for the day. He just made his shoulder worse on that hit on Kemp.

Disagree.

Small window trying to get it over the defender.

Can you imagine if we have Sheldon Richardson and Aldon Smith next year? Holy crap.

ozarkchief 10-16-2010 11:18 AM

Time for A & M to get their passing game going...should be entertaining. I'm predicting 3 or 4 picks in this game.

I just played it back, and you're right. Great throw.

No he didn't. He had to get some air under it to get it over the LBer.

It cleared the linebacker's paw by 6 inches.

He put it the only place he could to complete it. It was an NFL throw for sure.

I'll say this - if Josh Freeman is a first rounder, so is Blaine Gabbert.

Gabbert is going to transition well to the pro game, and one of the biggest positives for him is that he's at his best when he's allowed to push the ball downfield.

And what the **** was that? Damnit.

Lucky play. If that's what it takes for them to convert a third down, I'll take it.

Coach 10-16-2010 11:21 AM

Wide open, but nice timing/recovery.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:22 AM

Lucky no PI. Thank you for having a noodle arm, Johnson.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:22 AM

God these announcers suck dick.

That was what Kemp failed to do on the previous deep ball.

Sometimes the WR does a nice job adjusting on the ball and that's what happened there. The WR was proactive there and was able to spot and adjust to the ball before the corner.

It happens (when you're willing to throw downfield...)

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:23 AM

Wets himself even when he eludes the pressure.

KChiefs1 10-16-2010 11:23 AM

Where did this defense come from?????

Coach 10-16-2010 11:24 AM

Sacked.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:24 AM

Outstanding. Johnson has absolutely no presence in the pocket.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:24 AM

3 man rush gets him.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:25 AM

Sweet. Took them out of FG range.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:25 AM

Like I said - we'll be fine without Aldon Smith next season.

This team just keeps finding excellent DEs.

He may come back. I'm guessing about 60% that he leaves.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:26 AM

Sustain a drive here and take it to half, please.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:26 AM

I'd love to run out the clock here.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:27 AM

Very poor throw.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:27 AM

That throw is why Gabbert isn't league-ready yet.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:27 AM

Joke of a possession. About 5 seconds off the clock.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:28 AM

Need a very good punt here.

Giving up a FG is fine, but DO NOT allow the TD.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:28 AM

**** Yost and Gabbert. Horrible calls AND execution. 4321

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:28 AM

Mark Mangino is impressed by our clock management there.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:29 AM

Hell of a throw.

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:29 AM

Coach 10-16-2010 11:29 AM

That was close.

kcpasco 10-16-2010 11:30 AM

I agree, he's not.

But neither was Freeman.

It's hard to say that this offense has done Gabbert any favors as far as his pro-career is concerned.

If it was run like it was when Daniel was here (the rapid read/react, QB-centered offense), it would've been. But with Yost calling these single-option bubble-screens and interior reads, there's just not much room for growth at the QB position.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:30 AM

WOW

Coach 10-16-2010 11:30 AM

Definately a Cassel-like throw there.

-King- 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

Defense got lucky on those 2 plays

DeezNutz 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

Out****ingstanding.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

Nice toss, Johnson.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

They should've thrown a bubble screen.

Coach 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

Good thing it wasn't intercepted. Would rather take the turnover on downs.

KcMizzou 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

yeah, don't intercept that...lol

ozarkchief 10-16-2010 11:31 AM

Not going to be many turnovers when the pass is nowhere near the receiver.

kcpasco 10-16-2010 11:32 AM

Glad their Qb is ass

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:32 AM

A decent team is up 14-13.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:32 AM

Wasn't this guy first team pre-season all Big XII?

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:33 AM

Terrible throw.

Coach 10-16-2010 11:33 AM

Hell of a throw/catch.

Coach 10-16-2010 11:34 AM

And another one. Ouch, he felt that.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:34 AM

Ouch.

Exactly why he is ready now.

He has the skill set, intangibles ("it"), and body to be successful. He's going to need to refine the nuances and get the polish at the next level b/c the system he is in will not allow otherwise.

Throw to Moe was fabulous.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:34 AM

Another NFL throw.

And TJ Moe is a stud.

Pinkel's Wes Welker?

(and there's that overthrow. Gabbert owes him a sammich as well)

kcpasco 10-16-2010 11:34 AM

OUCH

-King- 10-16-2010 11:34 AM

Gabbert missed the WR on the outside.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:34 AM

TJ is Jordan Shipley + former Chiefs WR Rob Thomas.

-King- 10-16-2010 11:35 AM

TD Kemp

I don't know about the "it" factor.

Touchdown.

They'll review it.

kcpasco 10-16-2010 11:35 AM

Watching that throw makes me hate Cassel even more

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:36 AM

I've liked about 80% of the play calls. Yost's problem is that, when he's bad, he's really bad.

Oh yeah. Last year showed that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Dude is a tough sumbitch and a leader.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:37 AM

I think that's a touchdown. Certainly not enough to overturn.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:37 AM

My favorite thing about Gabbert is that the kid is absolutely tough as nails.

There's a lot of Stafford in him. He won't be NFL ready in year 1 (major learning curve), but he's a first round talent.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:37 AM

That was bullshit.

Honestly, I thought it was at the 1/2 yard line.

Still, Mizzou should be able to punch it in. aTm is bad.

Every time Daniel took a snap, you knew he was going to go to the right man on the right spot at the right time. I don't feel that way about Gabbert.

ozarkchief 10-16-2010 11:38 AM

Holy cow...how did they mark it there?

Coach 10-16-2010 11:38 AM

Christ....
