IIRC, he even kept screwing around with DT too. And the moves he tried to do with DT turned out to be flops as well.

The issue comes in two, three years into his tenure, where the players start losing their discipline and accountability and he brings in misidentified talent because he thinks he can mold anyone into a football player. Chester McGlockton was all Gun convincing Marty and Carl that he could light a fire under Chet's butt.

At the end of the day, Gun sucks...

Gun is a victim of Herms dumbassery... Not saying Gun is a great DC, but better than what HERM has bussed him...

I read somewhere that Herm had given the coaches permission to look for other jobs.

Here's all you need to know about Gun:

1) he likes to run a blitz based defense.

2) his defenses telegraph their blitzes more clearly than any other team in the league.

Disguising a blitz is coachable. He is unable to coach the cornerstone of his defensive philosophy.
