Fuggin' hurricanes....messin' up my weekends......


THE STATE FAIR in town!!!11!!1! Gonna take all the chitlens to the fair and get me some of dat food dey got. Maybe gets me a fried lizard on a stick. Yee Haw.

Sitting around tonight.....

Saturday....taking the kids to the fair. Then, going to a birthday party for a buddies wife. Then back out to the fair for beer at the Beer Garden. Drunk and naked by 1:30am Sunday.

Sunday....wake up at the butt ass crack of dawn because my kids WON'T LET ME SLEEP IN. Home in time to watch the opening episode of "Dismantling a football team, by Herm Edwards".

Surprisingly enough it looks like I'll be opening the Chiefs season this Sunday watching the game with one of Chiefsplanet's own. jjchieffan is in Seattle on work this week and is staying about 3 miles from my house. Outside of Madmax who introduced me to this board, this will be a first.

Actually, I am attending a wedding on Sat. with my ex-fiance. (We started talking again three months ago) On Sunday, I fully expect to see our beloved Chiefs get sodomized early and often...thats ok though...It is THEM and not me...builds character I hear....

What I'm thinking for Saturday....

Laundry, clean bathrooms, and take out trash. Definitely getting my oil changed. Probably won't have time this week before heading to JC, OP, and St Joe next weekend. Go by dad's to finish drinking the beer I left over there last weekend.

I was at work until roughly 4 a.m. with Tropical Storm Hanna coverage. Got up around 8 a.m. to help update the site with cleanup efforts. Just finished up with the updates... my wife wants to watch Star Trek II.

Nothing planned but hanging with my buds here watching the game. Make the trip to Richmond and come on over to watch with us. beer, wings, and Chiefs football, maybe shoot a little pool......Can't go wrong with that..

I will wager that the drunks in Dodge City aren't really as crafty as in KC. Our cost-benefit effectiveness here is probably atypical.

When I was in Lawrence, I didn't know anyone who rolled around in their auto drinking a case of beer or tequila from their back seat, here, it's standard.
