It all hinges on Simmons. If he becomes the starter, all the other guys have ways to contribute. I like what they've done.

Exact issue I had the other day... Most of the guys in the Lounge have no ****ing clue who 95% of these prospects are but are so quick to dismiss a contrarion opinion. It's like why bother giving that opinion if all you do is get shit on for it and told Veach is the greatest ever and every pick he makes is 100% pure gold. And if that's the case, why bother ever doing much at all in relation to the draft? That's where I'm at with no real reason to explain why I feel ONL is also a massive gamble.

Got torched for not being over the moon about the Kingsley pick a year ago.

This is where I am. It's Simmons or bust. Although there are some intriguing pieces that have been drafted (CB,DT,DE/Edge), and still more to come.

This is just a dumb woman’s opinion but after monitoring this forum for years and just recently posting.

Why do you men spends months hyping these kids for the Chiefs to pick that Veach never picks but the instant he is picked, everyone instantly says he is the best pick ever?

Is that a man thing?

Two massive gambles?

ONL has 5 starts in his entire college career.

He's undersized at this point as well.

While he has a nice "win rate," that rate is on a much smaller number of snaps than most DTs in this class, so you have to curb the enthusiasm a little there.

He's the football equivalent of a pinch hitter. We took a guy that's probably going to spend the first two seasons as a sub-package pass rush DT in the 2nd round... when we really could have used a long-term 1T that can start now.

Yes, it's a bit of a gamble if you're expecting a starter there... which you should be.

I do like the player, a lot actually. I just call it like I see it, though.

And I've noticed your contributions significantly tail off the past couple of years, which sucks too because you're one of the better posters here. But I get it, absolutely. It's frustrating.

Until Simmons pans out I had to go with great job but...

Being back in school again and watching Bluey with my one year old has been quite time consuming.

We will have some winners and some losers, just like EVERY draft

I don't care at all who plays the first first down of the game.

I don't care if Pennel plays first down and short yardage.

Norman -Lott can wreck shit on passing downs next to Jones and change games.

I'll take that.

BryanBusby 04-26-2025 10:02 AM

I voted that I'm okay with the choices.

No real steals or reaches. They addressed what got exposed in the Super Bowl with Veach-like selections.

I was looking for more immediate sizzle early on but this class could pay long-term dividends.

I feel that. My fiancé and I each have 3 kids. I stepped back in time with her youngest and got a daily dose of Sponge Bob, Bluey, Mickey Mouse Playhouse, etc.

That's enough kids to need to phone a friend to get a few minutes to shit in peace. 2 kids total has been enough for me LMAO

I think if you had started the Simmons with something similar and not 3 posts that called it ****ing dreadful, the worst pick ever with no reasoning, and then calling someone a ****ing morons, maybe you get a different result.... and there was also a lot of civil discussion in that thread before you got all butthurt that people aren't sucking your dick for draft analysis.

People tend to reap what they sow in this forum.
