The thing I'm absolutely, 100% sure of is that I have no idea what Veach is going to do.

It's a deep DT draft...so does he wait and pick a quality one up later?

It's a deep RB draft...so does he wait?

Only two first round/second round LT's...and one is a question mark to ever be as physically able as he was prior to injury. So do we take the chance?

No idea.

He'll probably take a corner.

Offensive line, defensive line, CB, or WR.

According to Veach today.

I am not putting my final answer but boy is Josh Simmons starting to creep into my head based on all we know so far.

Yep - he alluded to Defensive End and Running Back being the two most loaded positions. But certainly didn't lump Defensive Tackle into that equation.

While he's not quite the burner I really want at 4.43, still wouldn't be mad if Veach went as high as two for him... our RB room lacks sizzle so bad

He's very well rounded, probably the most pro ready RB in the draft with above average vision, pass blocking, and receiving, there isn't much he doesn't already excel at

Poor mans Marshall Faulk

If its Treyveon Henderson could probably drop back to around 40 or so, right? Grab an extra pick... Would love to see them grab one of those higher end backs expected to go in the 2nd round (Kaleb Johnson, Treyveon, Judkins). Maybe even Hampton if they are that sold on him. Have to get younger and more explosive at RB

I’m convinced he’d be an OROY candidate with us…it’s a nuclear fit.

He’d be a WMD with Andy and Pat.

Be a bit surprised if Conerly is there and he's not the pick given what Veach has said. Other position groups are deep. OT is not.
