I enjoyed it quite a bit back in the day, although not as much as Skyrim or the Fallout games. I remember there were occasions when large groups of NPCs would be battling that made the game lag badly. And those goddamn endlessly recurring oblivion gates that popped up everywhere in the endgame got old quickly.

Still, I'll probably give this a look.

Oblivion may be the best story that bathesda has ever put together. Im excited to replay it with current gen graphics and obviously their test run for the new combat system in tes6

I'm pretty much Fallout only now, I'm waiting for a new Fallout game. Hopefully that happens before I die.

There have been two full scale fallout releases since the last main line elder scrolls release.

I hope to hell that fallout is on the back burner lol

That's a good point - as I recall the main quest line was far less of a boat anchor than most of their other games, particularly Fallout 4 (**** baby Shaun) and Starfield (**** Constellation). And I remember that I particularly enjoyed the Dark Brotherhood quest.

I feel the same about Witcher 4. I recently read somewhere that it's supposed to drop in 2027. I should be able to hold out for another couple of years.

Oblivion had the best versions of the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild out of any ES game.

The Thieves Guild questline was one of the best gaming experiences ever.

I don't understand why people shell out money for re-hashed "remastered" games like this. Lazy money-grabbing bullshit from Bethseda.

I haven’t gotten it yet, but as a PS5 user I don’t believe there is any other way to play it without purchasing the remastered version.
