It's snow, right? Haven't typically lost power for snow storms in my area. But yeah I won't be praying for it or anything.

It's not the snow we're concerned about. It's the ice that is being projected. Too much ice on the power lines, with snow on top of it...... yeah that'll go well.

If that happens, you’re going to have widespread power outages. We got hit with one of those about 20 years ago and some were without power for 3+ weeks. I was in MO for Christmas when it hit and driving back down to it was astonishing. Just south of Ft. Smith on down, it looked like the Tunguska event.
