How to tell us you didn't watch this video without telling us you didn't watch the video.

Don't know about 'majority,' but for a lot of them, yeah.

He'd drop back, hands would separate to throw, come back together because no one was open, go through his progression, then take off.

Our guys did get open sometimes, but yeah, especially in the first half, they were blanketed across the board a lot.

But some of that was just rust or not being quite on the right page. They'll sort a lot of that out as the season progresses. Not all of it though.

It'll be interesting to see how our WRs handle the next 8 or so weeks. hopefully they make progress quickly. NYJ is in 3 weeks.

I think the video here in the OP should be required watching for all on CP.

The short-hand is that it was a somewhat perfect storm in which everything was just a tad off. Some of it was the dropsies, some of it was Mahomes either being impatient, or forcing throws, or being a little off with them. Some of it was what appear to be sloppy/incorrect routes.

Nothing there that appears to be a lack of ability, just several things slightly off and the result in real time can look ugly.

There was a 30 plus point offensive asswhooping available, KC just didn't do it.

There were guys open a LOT. There were also a lot of drops, and a lot of route mistakes, but Patrick missed a lot of things, too.
