that shit would pay out huge, not only for Chiefs games but for the world cup in 26

You'd have to put in some other form of entertainment. Otherwise, they'd sit vacant for months. Independence isn't exactly a place people flock to, except for home game weekends. Royals don't draw in too big of a crowd outside of locals.

Titties, booze, weed and gambling is all you'd need.

I love the stadium but hate the location. It's the argument for moving it somewhere else - there's just not enough going on in that are for any developers to give a damn.

The Drury in Independence. That’s all you need. That place is awesome and only like 10 min away down the interstate.

Just get an airbnb in the hood

OnTheWarpath15 09-05-2023 01:23 PM

Just stay downtown - it's a 10 minute drive and easy into the stadium via Gate 6(?) The Hampton Inn Crossroads is in a great spot, stay there whenever I'm in town.

Help me @007

Holiday Inn Express in Raytown. It will be the closest you will get to the stadium that's clean. Bonus it very close to Harp BBQ the best IMO in the whole KC area.

That Adam's Mark with the Coco Keys waterpark has been closed for several years. They ended up with a bed bug infestation that they never recovered from. Probably full of trillions of bugs at this point.

I assumed you'd just PM billay about a place to stay and sing about your 4th margarita.

You can find better options if you go a little to the east and just accept that you'll have to drive in for the game. Or you can Uber, but that's a bit of a cluster for at least an hour after the game.

Agree with all of this. If I hit a game, I move away from the stadium a bit to avoid having my wallet raped. The last time I stayed right by Arrowhead, I stayed at the Adams Mark. It was VERY overpriced and a complete dump. Honest to God, your average crack whore hotel, like a Motel 6, would have been a noticeable upgrade. I think that dump is closed now, (Thank God) but the other ones near it aren't much better, at least that was my experience.

The Blue Bird Motel is nearby on 40 hwy. Here is the first review I found of the place:

"Yes you could place to just go and do the dirty you know me and my girlfriend used to go there is two to three times a week and every every time we went they gave room 301 he put a big grin on his face and me to bring the kids a room 301 and I guess that's because of mirrors behind the mirror is cameras so we just gave him a good show we got good prices so he'd rather stay all day for 25 bucks but he got one hell of a show"

Second Review:

"Great for what it is. Not really a family , kid friendly type establishment. Free adult movies already streaming to your room without having to ask. ( A great service ). But on my last visit the streaming service was not working.
Rooms are clean , air conditioned, and basic. Not available for overnight stays. 2 hour rentals $40. 40 bucks every 2 hours. Pretty steep."
