This just came up on my YouTube feed. Man, in my senior year of HS 1975, I was such a fan of The Marshall Tucker Band and the fastest thumb in the South Toy Caldwell. Charlie Daniels always said Toy was the best guitarist he had ever seen and Chet Atkins had high praise also.

Toy was a Nam war hero who was shot and severely wounded in a rice paddy in Vietnam. The surgeons told him in the hospital he was a lucky man he was going home with the lucky golden ticket. Instead, he told patch him up and returned to fight with his buddies back in the jungles of Nam.

What a talent along with his brother Tommy no slouch on the bass. This was a badass show with MTB, Charlie Daniels, and Poco. Helen Ready wasn't much of a fan. Poco may be too much country for you Metal Maniacs and Rap fans, you cant deny the talent though.
