We already have 5 DEs likely making the roster so it doesn't matter.

I would say reverse Neil Smith actually. Smith never won a ring until he went to the Donks. Clark has never played for a cellar dwelling team until now.

This. Frank Clark is a playoff and Super Bowl winning KC hero. Look forward to seeing him in the Ring of Honor some day. Neil Smith can get ****ed.

In my own defense, I did call out that it was a terrible comparison. That said, any time I see a player go from KC to Denver, Neil Smith is the default that comes to mind.

**** that worthless POS he’s cooked anyway

New World Order 06-08-2023 01:19 PM

He’s terrible but he may be Denver’s best edge

Sounds like he got a nice payday. Great to see.

Well, it's obvious where his priorities lie. He's gotten his rings, so I can't blame him, but I can't imagine anyone going to Denver to try and win another one.

Initial thoughts:

1 - Good for Frank, no one else was going to give him $5.5M guaranteed.
2 - Thank you for the fun memories!
3 - Playoff Frank will not be a thing this year, as the Broncos will not make the playoffs
4 - Regular season Frank will be a thing, as he seemed to have conditioning issues in KC, so assuming this remains a constant, his conditioning will be noticably worse a mile higher in altitude.
5 - I wish him luck in every game except for the two against KC, when I hope his stomach acts up for the day.

His priorities? Pretty sure he wanted to play for the Chiefs again, and they released him. Never heard anything that indicated the Chiefs were serious about bringing him back on a cheaper deal, either.
