I also like Crow's Mallory nod. I think we may actually see a decent selection of TEs still there in the 6th or 7th, though I wonder if any of them are actually good enough to knock our existing guys off the roster.

I would suspect not. Payne Durham is a guy who might have enough juice to pull it off, though. Really turned some heads at the Senior bowl and might be a lot better than people realize.

I thought Durham was a pretty good player in college he's kind of slow though

At this point we've collectively named pretty much every player in the draft.

I haven't seen Chandler Zavala mentioned. He may not make it to day 3, but there is a chance he does, and if he does it would be a a great pick anywhere on day 3 IMO.

Chandler Zavala has come a long way - from being an undersized guard playing just a single year of football to seriously bulking up to become one of the best pass-protecting guards in the draft. His technique and overall skill if surprisingly impressive given his lack of playing time at the highest level at college. He's also got exceptional athletic ability and displays the speed and agility to be a major asset in the running game as a pulling guard as well as being even more impressive in pass protection.

Besides being overaged - not a big deal, and not having elite strength there aren't a lot of glaring weaknesses to his game. Zavala looks like he can go as high as the third round of the 2023 NFL draft - and he'll be a bargain there.

Matt Landers WR Arkansas 6’4” 4.37 and he plays with some nasty. Good yac ability for a guy his size and his start and stop and sudden change of direction is very impressive and his combine numbers back up his film traits with a 37” vert and 10’10” broad.

We have 7 day 3 picks. We should be talking about 20+ players in this thread.

Just echoing others but I really like Landers as a late round option. Love Brooks but I think he goes much earlier.

Terell "T-Time" Smith CB Minnesota

Size, speed, versatile. Has tested very well.

Perfect day 3 steal.

I REALLY like Blake Freeland. Will he fall to us in round 4? I don't know.

Remember when Andre Carter II was being suggested as our FIRST round pick? Dude ended up a UDFA.

Told you...OK there's no way I thought he wouldn't be drafted but his play strength was nowhere near adequate. People were talking about us taking him at 31 because he was an Army guy and therefore apparently would have his his head screwed on right, bizarre.
