Loves, generally speaking the truck stop versions are newer and clean. As a truck driver I appreciated the capitol Loves has put into new locations nationwide.

I just stick the Tesla on autopilot and shit out the window so I don’t have to stop
|
And if I’m with the old lady and she won’t let me shit out the window we prefer to stop at Kohl’s

Grandparents took me on a car trip to Disneyland when I was 5yo, and Stuckey's was a major player in the experience. The billboards were nearly every mile the entire trip and we had breakfast there most mornings.
Grandparents got a kick out of; I would have hot chocolate with breakfast because they were having coffee, but I was too young for that. And at one of the stops I 'sweet talked' the waitress into putting as much whipped cream on top as there was hot chocolate in the cup. They would tell that story to anyone who would listen for at least a couple years after. . . Good times. But since then, I've never been back to one, and any memory of even passing by one has long passed. |
Who the **** prioritizes truck stops?
Offseason is the worst... |
I have not been to many of these...but I heard that Sapps has bidets in their toilet stalls...and that counts for something.

I'm going to go with Love's, they always seem the cleanest. I travel in my van a lot, almost to the point of 1/2 van life. I am on the road on most weekends traveling as a Mountain Bike instructor.

I think the only 1 mentioned in the poll I've ever been to is Love's. Many years ago there was a chain along I-70 called Tommy Oil. Those seemed to be spaced a just the right distance for peeing.

Pretty obvious this forum thinks of truck drivers like the rest of America.
Give them more places to park and shower instead of writing tix for parking in a rest area too long and your opinion would change. Without truck drivers, America stops! |
Been to several on the list, but can't say I can think of any differences between them to say any are better or worse.

Loves are almost everywhere.

My one and only truck stop adventure since getting my drivers license was when I drove from northern VA to Scottsdale, AZ in 2017.
I stopped in Tulsa for 3 days to visit a close friend and their family. I went first to the Flying J. I took a shower and changed after driving 24 hours. It was super clean, cheap to rent, incredibly large and nice service. Once done I went into the drivers lounge, sat in a recliner and took a 2 hour nap. Then I left to visit my friends. I give it an 8 out of 10 |
Other: QuikTrip

Some real redneck shit here. Love it! Which one is the best after a night of hot wings and guineas? CP never change
