Most of what I've seen is today. And going back through history, it's typically been on a Monday so May 10th wouldn't make much sense.

Under the new CBA, the deadline is the Monday after the draft.

I would feel like it would be in the best interest of the league to cut down on these types of contracts... what are essentially pre-arranged deals that are negotiated and agreed to beforehand and then signed after the deadline. It's essentially another type of tampering. It seems there's a couple contracts every year like this and Villanueva... oh well. It is what it is.

I'm grateful for Tyrann...he was the heart and soul of a Super Bowl-winning team. I'm glad it worked out for him to go to New Orleans. But our secondary is now MUCH better than it was last year.

After this draft i dont give a single shit about Honey Vadger. I feel like they course corrected in part because of HV. They went and got guys that TACKLE. He did not do that last year.
