It’s actually genius.

The idea behind it is that whoever the picks are traded for are more valuable than any production from future picks. If you’re picking in the early to mid 20s every year, that’s probably not a wrong interpretation.

Broncos will get a 2nd and a 3rd for Miller. Great trade and a lesson that our GM will need to learn and possibly make as our veterans age more.
