I'm sure with the high altitude and all the weed this seems like a great hire...

Before I started following him on Twitter I didn't realize what a pathetic Bronco kiss-ass Adam Schefter is.

We shall see... now they should ship Lock, the '21 R1, '22 R1 and something else to Houston for Watson and let's give it a whirl.

Really? How old are you (and yes, I'm being sincere)?

Schefter worked for the Rocky Mountain News from 1990-96 and for the Denver Post from 96-2004 when he joined the NFL Network.

He covered the Broncos for 14 years.

I knew he had covered them and had connections there. But his Twitter feed makes him sound like he actually works directly for the Broncos organization today. It was even worse when John Elway fired himself as GM and Schefter kept tweeting out all of Elway's successes in the role.

Idk much about him but the Vikings have been an above average team in the draft for a long time so this seems like an upgrade for them.

He covered them during the Elway/Shanahan glory years. Don't know about Elway but he had a personal relationship with Shanahan that continued when Shanahan went to Washington.

The biggest issue with the Vikings was not being able to adequately address the QB position. Basically, the same issue Denver has been struggling with.

Nothing the Broncos do will matter for the next 15+ years.

KCUnited 01-13-2021 12:33 PM

Was Colon Powell not available?

Yup. Good luck to that guy. Even though they have some nice talent, they have to compete against Mahomes and now Herbert.

That’s gonna be tough

Patton's first posting was with the 15th Cavalry at Fort Sheridan, Illinois,

Pitt Gorilla 01-13-2021 03:50 PM

Well, at least he’ll be familiar with the inability to draft a QB. Maybe they will also end up settling for Cousins.

Ha... they just need to get Watson.
