Edit: to address the OP, dirty dan had a great playoff run and stepped up when we needed it. He is absolutely worth the $4M we’re paying next year, but he’s not my second favorite player. I absolutely respect what he brings. He’s smart, dependable and Spags knows what he can do and doesn’t put in unfavorable matchups if he can help it.
