I wasn’t tripping, but the ‘98 Leonids were one of the more amazing things I’ve seen. Some incredible fireballs. It was somewhere between 500-600 meteors per hour which I thought was amazing. Apparently it was in the thousands in 1966. I’m already tentatively planning a trip out west for the next big one in 2034.

Saw a group of dolphins body surfing the wake of my ship by the light of bioluminescence for hours in the Indian Ocean on a perfectly clear starry night. The whole world looked like a black light painting. I wasn't on anything but nicotine, caffeine, and ibuprofen.

Blocking a shot at the defensive blueline, hauling ass for the puck and then scoring the game-winning goal on the ensuing breakaway in a 3-2 win.

In the top rec league division.

.....and no, I'm not even close to being a top rec league player, which made it that much more awesome.

EDIT: Chiefs-wise, Sammy Watkins touchdown in the AFC Championship Game which all but sealed KC's trip to the Super Bowl. My phone was absolutely flooded with congratulatory text messages.

In fact, I had one of those moments today. I saw a Chiefs super bowl sticker. Still can't believe it. So rad.

"The Run"

No he doesn't have crazy speed, he isn't a shifty-elusive guy. But Mahomes just plays with heart, and decided he wasn't going to be denied. (And there was nothing the Titans could do about it)

The Run was ****ing rad as ****.

Being at the AFCCG with my 2 Son’s and watching the whole moment develop as they realize that we were going to the SB. It was surreal and really special. One of the greatest moments of my life.
