Baker Mayfield, a 1st and a 4th in 2019 for Mahomes

RealSNR 09-30-2018 06:20 PM

"Mayfield just wins!"

Can we please put to bed this annoying and stupid ****ing idea that college wins mean you're a better player?

Jared Goff and Patrick Mahomes are arguably the kings of the NFL right now. Goff was 14-23 in college. Mahomes was 13-16.

Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield, and all the other choad QBs who get blown on TV because "They stepped up and played big when it mattered and won games as leaders of men!!" can suck AIDS through a straw.

Ask Colt McCoy, Ken Dorsey, Greg McElroy, and countless others if they'd trade those successful college outcomes for real NFL careers.

Who could forget McEroys gutty drive to beat Auburn 26-21 in 2009

Clearly a franchise QB

McElroy might not make the trade you suggest. He won a national title in college and now he probably makes very good money on ESPN and he doesn't have to take big hits from massive NFL dudes, lol

Comparing Mahomes and Mayfield is like comparing a Ferrari to a Yugo!

Mayfield's head looks swollen... Like he just took it out of a cow's ass...

He sucks too.

its easy to understand, more and more people are born per day, generations get better and better, more evolved, and the NFL is a VERY PASS FRIENDLY league. Not hard to understand that these guys can pull off dime ass throws in their young age.

Both need to have a few games facing real pressure and receivers that aren't NCAA open before people start crowning their asses.

What pressure? Quite frankly, I'd be afraid to sack a QB with todays rules.

That has to be in a linebackers mind every time he gets an opening to sack the QB, instead of instinctively tearing that mother ****er up....

Baker will probably be entertaining and solid competition for years but he’ll always be a few steps behind Mahomes.

I agree. Mahomes is about to go against one of the best pass rushers in the league tomorrow, so that will be interesting to see how he does. Next week he faces the Jaguars with a great secondary and great pass rush.

Mayfield’s played the Jets and Raiders. Absolutely no pass rushers there.

But Mahomes has gone up against Miller, Ingram, Watt, and Buckner. He’s also done a phenomenal job under pressure statistically.

Baker's schedule looks pretty easy the rest of the year actually.

Ravens - nowhere near what they used to be. Just ask Dalton.
Chargers - not great
Bucs - horrible defense, maybe equal to Chiefs
Steelers - another really bad defense
Chiefs - maybe the worst defense in the league
Falcons - giving up a ton of points and yards
Bengals - lot of shootouts this year for Dalton. Defense isn't that good
Texans - on paper they are good, but they kinda suck in reality
Panthers - solid defense
Broncos - good pass rush, bad secondary
