People forget he was one of our biggest contributors after Maclin and Kelce in 2015. He's not great, but he does neat things on occasion.

He knows the offense, probably, forward and backward at this point and he comes cheap. You aren't likely to get more of a contribution from a rookie.

With any luck he'll remain our 5th or 6th option in the passing game.

He's pretty good on screens, and he can get open with pick routes and double moves on occasion....

He's not a good WR. Plain and simple. He's gator armed more passes than he has scored touchdowns.

Instead of filling skill positions on offense with a couple of high quality starters, we instead seek out a bevy of gadget players.

Wilson has some value even if it's not much. Demarcus Robinson probably won't play too much IMO and the guy knows the offense. He scored 3 TD's last year which isn't bad for a #4 WR.

They will probably draft someone this year to learn for a year and then take over next season.

You guys should be pissed that DAT is still here. That guy made even Albert Wilson look like Tyreek Hill in comparison.
I can't think of one good thing DAT did last year. No play comes to mind.

Tell me where I said he's a good receiver? Like Run said, he's 4th or 5th on the receiving depth chart. For the price, he's worthy of staying on the roster.
Averages 3 looks a game and he'll catch 2 of those targets.

The only thing alligator arms should gets is his walking papers.

He is one of the best blocking WR and his ST contributions.

I'd have not bothered, but if he is the #4-#5 wideout option.. and he is.. it's not an awful move. The tender would not be guaranteed until week 1, iirc, so KC can still move on if they upgrade before then.

Wilson should sign this as fast as he possibly can, i doubt he gets a better offer anywhere.
