Thanks for taking the time to write your list....I agree with your takes but next year seems so far away and I'm not getting any younger so I hate to see us blow chances like this year... With the Raiders up and coming and Denver's defense back next year ...it won't be a cake walk to win the division..

As usual George great job. This is always the best post game read. Keep your chin up Brady and Manning are near retirement. Maybe we will luck into one like them we certainly are due.

Nice write up as always, but Brees shouldn't be in your list of homegrown QBs.
|
Thanks, Gman..your write ups are the best.
Nobody stepped up today, DJ? When he doesn't show up, we lose. Berry? Poe? All invisible. Looked like the D Indy playoff. |
Excellent write up. As always. I'm just glad there were 18 this year. 18 is better than 16 or 16 plus an embarrassment.
Agree on all counts. One thing to note is that the after the Houston game, it feels like we FINALLY washed off the stink off from the Patriot Way bullshit that Scott "Franchise Killer" Pioli forced down our throats by throttling a "tree" organization. Sucks that we had to lose to the root of the problem. Hopefully we can build on that. For the first time this year, it looked like we had a team that could handle some adversity and overcome it for the first time since Marty. Goonther, Vermiel, Squirmin Herman, and the Pioli trainwreck all yielded teams that could win some games until something went wrong. This team had some bad things happen and managed to keep the wheels from falling off. We are outgunned against the Cheatriots, but Dorsey has been making good moves, and the arrow is pointing up. We'll see if he can upgrade the QB position. |

There was a point in the game when the Chiefs were averaging more yards running than they were passing. |
Sandy's what I would call "A Single Issue Voter."
We lost by seven. Alex track record in engineering come from behind victories is not good. Plenty of blame to go around today. We got behind, we came up short, we settled for three when Pats took seven, defense played poorly. But you can't deny Brady was the better QB in this game. It's a fact. Sorry dude. He won, Smith did not. |
I always find it funny when someone talks about drafting and grooming our own home grown QB, and follows that up with a reference to Lenny.
