Umm watching him for 4 years at Georgia? Also watched Foles and Kolb when they came out. I would say I watched "tape" but everybody will flip their shit because it's not all 22 footage. I had Murray pegged as our type of QB before last years draft as did some others. He played very well in an offense with a lot of WC concepts and in the toughest conference in football. He almost led them to a NC also and would've if their defense wasn't atrocious and Richt wasn't terrible.

Unless Alex gets hurt for a period of time. No, he will never see the field here. Paying Alex too much.. Very few franchises will give an actual QB battle. Especially with the contracts.

This team hasn't had a legitimate QB prospect in quite some time.

Aaron has to beat Daniel for second string before even thinking that he has a shot at the starter's spot.

Murray is a lottery ticket. If he develops, someday when Smith is on his way out he can get a chance at the job. Or something could happen like it did with Cassel, where he plays well while Smith is injured or something, you can flip him for picks.

Let's see if ol' Murray can beat out Chase Daniel for #2 on the depth chart, first. If he doesnt, he isnt being 'groomed' for anything other than clipboard duty.
