I know a few people who have been playing daily for the past year though. Even work with someone who has put over $200 into buying gems in the game :shake:

I play a similar game, play it daily, only takes a couple minutes at a time. But I have some people in my alliance that spend like 20 bucks a day on it. That is their fun. It should never effect work though.

Side note, we are currently ranked 3rd. Moving towards second. The top alliance probably spends a 1000bucks a week on the game. I think most of them must be using stolen credit cards. Or shit, maybe they are celebs/rich.

I still have not spent a dime. Maybe if they ever have a good sale.

The game is called Empire Z.

There is a similar star wars game also.

When I worked retail, we had a guy get fired from work for never showing up or hours late because he was raiding in WoW. He said he was sick, everyone knew why. He was also kicked out of his band, which had a following in KC and had gigs weekly in Westport. He was the lead singer. Guess he was missing practice and showing up late to shows from WoW. Some people just do not comprehend.

Last I heard he tells people he makes money on youtube videos for COD. Have not seen any of them.

People that post other people's work without giving credit should be banned.

Clash of Clans is huge in every MLB locker room.

Certain guys were way too involved with this and not involved enough with their jobs.

Again, I was not arguing that this was not a concern. But if they were watching way too much TV, that would not have the same compelling hook in the story, because that is a more acceptable method of wasting your time to the older generations.

Maybe I'll start quitting tomorrow. You know what, why not next week?

Clash of Clans did not put Aaron Crow in the game in a high leverage situation to give up a gopher ball. That was Ned Yost.
This team turned it around when Ned Yost started listening to Dave Eiland, in my humble opinion.

I played that game a lot when I broke my leg. Made a pretty cool base, now I'm back in the human world so I only check it every few days

No doubt. It's a compelling hook because it's so dorky for a major league player to be distracted by a game that basically amounts to Farmville.
