The game mercifully ends with Baylor winning by two. Fittingly, there was a five minute review to see if the 56th foul of the game happened before the buzzer. It did not. As a result, only 77 free throws were attempted rather than 79.

What is the new rule that I keep hearing about that is causing all of these fouls? I haven't watched a game yet this season but I keep hearing this outrageous foul totals.

I'm very impressed that the third best team on the Big 12 (Baylor) was able to beat the 12th best team in the SEC (South Carolina) by two in Waco.
