Aside from Selma, MLK's "I have a dream" speech took place at a massive march on Washington if I remember right.

IIRC their were marches done during the holocaust when they would have to move prisoners once other camps were on the brink of being captured/liberated.

So...this is a great example, while violent, I can definitely use it. I'm finding that it turned the tide of the French Revolution, but the question I'm left with...did the women ever get any bread?

I didn't flunk, but hell, I don't remember one thing about it. Every time I do a google search for historic marches, all I get is music.
