The won't be any more or less competitive in the Big 11.

Maybe. I still think the Big 12 is quite viable though; too bad Mizzou and Nebraska seem to think otherwise.

I hope the Big 12 commissioner gets a cactus shoved up his ass. Stupid do-nothing asshole.

The Big 12 is definately up to snuff when it comes to being competitive on the field. The Big 10 just has a much better TV deal, along with larger schools which equals a larger alumni base.

I would put the Big 12's sports resume against the Big 10's any day.

More money for athletics and academics. Alot more.

And really Mizzou has not forgotten about being screwed out of a BCS Bowl game by a team it beat, a better bowl game by a team in beat by 5 TDs the same year with Nebraska, and a 6-6 Iowa St. team last year because of the way the Big 12 is structured.

Bolded part the most important though.

College football may look very weird in a couple years. You have to wonder if the SEC would make a move to go get Texas/A&M/Oklahoma/Oklahoma State and create a football mega-conference.

As a Kansas fan, I'd say it would appear that Nebraska and Missouri would "seem" to want to have a "better" chance in a league that tends to be less "dominated" by certain teams in certain sports.

I live adjacent to "Big Ten" country. When's the last time a Big Ten school made real noise in pursuit of a national championship....except for the perpetual bridesmaids, from "the" Ohio State University.

Maybe it's the right move for the Tigers and Huskers. Maybe they can actually make a difference. Guess, if this report is true, we will see.

Congrats, Mizzou and Nebraska. Have a good life. :toast:

LMAO at the Lawrencecentric view of the universe that you subscribe to.

It would be so interesting to read the real story of how this has unfolded behind the scenes. So many players...so many variables. Crazy shit.

Yeah, I could see where a championship every 20 years would lead someone to act like their shit doesn't stink.

I would expect the same from any real and proud alum of any university.

Michigan State (multiple) and Illinois have played for the NT w/in the last five years in basketball. Wisconsin has made the FF recently as well.
