Martinez was the right move.

Managed to avoid everything and watch this off the DVR so just now reacting. Was pacing around my living room as the inevitable unfolded in the bottom of the 10th. How the **** does a situation that was going to play out so predictably be allowed to happen like that?

Because Matheny, Miles. Because Matheny.

Yep. I was super agitated while that was happening and ****ing Matheny was something my neighbors likely heard. So disappointing that it came down to that after the team battled back.

I wonder what the players are thinking? You bring Martinez/Wacha/Rosenthal in, they are probably fine with the manager if they blow it.

But, they know he is a LOOGY. They know his failures against RH. They might not say something but in their heads, the thought that this is ****ed up managing going on here has to be in their thoughts.

At least for me this would have been a lot less painful of a loss had another more reasonable choice as pitcher been on the mound.

Who knows on what the players think and hopefully they just rally to even it up tomorrow. Just got to hope they continue to play well despite what ever very questionable decisions Matheny makes as they have tended to do in the past.

You could make a case to bring in any of this trio Martinez/Wacha/Rosenthal. It blows up, you could see how Matheny arrived at that decision. You don't have to agree, but you could see how he would reach that decision. Letting Choke face RH batters with a NLCS game on the line...........Why???

Yeah still confused and burning as well exactly for the same. Made no sense at all.

AJ and Grichek back in the line up. Holliday and his .077 postseason BA still in the 3rd spot.

If we can't find a way tonight it probably doesn't get back home. Mad Bum owned us

i don't know. Every time we count this teAm out, they surprise us with a comeback. Who thought we would be Kershaw twice? He a way better pitcher than Baumgardner.

Holliday has had some of the worst luck on batted balls this series

Our #3/#4/#5 hitters are killing any innings that Carpenter/Jay are starting.

Adams/Peralta/Holliday are 4-33 this series. That kind of failure is not because of batted ball luck.

There ya go. Same scenario in the first inning and Holliday/Peralta fail miserably.
