Dude was instrumental in bringing us two titles. Him sacking Burrow pretty much sealed him in the “All time GOAT” status for me.

Did he badly overestimate his position and is it going to cost him money and his reputation amongst a lot of fans? Probably.

But I’m always gonna love the dude.

Yeah, if this is the end, I imagine in time we'll feel the same way about CJ we do about Reek. Appreciate their time here and what they did for the team, but it was clearly time to move on. Best for all parties involved probably.

His agents, however... **** those guys. CJ needs to dump their ass, sign the offer, and ask to not get ****ed out of two weeks' pay ($2.2MILLION). Win his THIRD ring, and work towards a couple more before he hangs 'em up.

I think CJ’s rep won’t even be that positive the way this is playing out. He might end up even lower than Neil Smith on that hate list.

This might sound strange but as much hate as I have for Jones atm I'd probably do a 180 if he fired his agent and reported.

I blame Goodell for this. His “I don’t care how you sack the quarterback” comment went to Chrissie's head, and now we’re here. Hey Chicago, still interested??

Unless he sacks Patrick Mahomes at Arrowhead in a pivotal, emotionally charged playoff game, does his signature wave to the crowd, and then leads the Bengals to a Super Bowl championship, that isn’t going to happen. Jones has delivered us exactly what Neil couldn’t in the clutch (but went on to do so for our most bitter rival).

Time will ultimately tell, and I’m certainly not saying I’m at that point yet. But man, even the traitor didn’t intentionally try to torpedo the start of the season (and possibly more depending on the length of the hold out) over money.

I suppose it will actually come down to just how this does affect the season.

Only thing I can think of. Gonna be cool when Mahomes guns it up with 450 yds and 5 TDs in both games
