Idk how I feel about Jones coming back tbh. I feel like sometimes he doesn’t go to his assignment and he does whatever he wants. This is why we were getting gashed. If Jones sticks to his assignment and buys in to what Spags wants we will be top 10 overall defense. But Jones has to understand that

Spags likes to rotate the line anyway, if Saunders and Nnadi can be stout on first down then a Chris Jones fresh from not playing every down can just go to work.

Vikings averaged 6.4 yards per play coming into the game today (3rd).

Chiefs defense allowed 4.7 yards per play.

The defensive makeover is real.

Yep. This was a real good offense....Diggs was ****ing teams hard the last few weeks...and Ward held him to one catch for 4 yards.

I am very very impressed by today's performance...hope they keep building on it.

I thought the D may have played better last week -- Green Bay made all kinds of crazy catches, and this week Cousins missed all kinds of throws. There's no doubt that this D is looking like an okay defense which is a far cry from what is has been.

Adding Pennel and Saunders emerging, add in Nnadi blossoming with CJ coming back and Clark as well, Spags has all kinds of options up front now.

LBs still scare me but I think the front and back ends can cover up enough of the blemishes.

Sooo . . . we gonna hold off on firing Spags for another week now?

Barely 300yards allowed and 8 forced punts against a team that had been getting 460 yards a game. Only 4.7 YPP

Love how Spags adjusted this week to the empty set RB mismatch.

He had a LB out there originally and then changed to have Ward covering Cook.

Yep. MN offense was ranked 3rd in the NFL.

Defense showed up today, especially at the end.

Really hope it continues.

I noticed Hitchens signaling everyone to switch into something else when the Vikings motioned Cook out.

GREAT coaching.

I think the Hitchens signing is finally paying off. He's been a great field general.

Ward has really come a long way. You saw flashes last year where the talent was there, but he's really emerging as our best corner.

You realize they moved Chris jones, right?

He played LDE on run downs and moved inside on passing downs. So our defensive coaches noticed the problem and have adjusted. I wonder if they will have the guts to continue the change when Clark comes back.

carry on with your sarcasm...
