I'd probably give Herbert a 1 in 20 chance right there.

No idea why anyone would be so concerned about one 3rd and 18 play, like it's just going to keep happening? And they still had to make a pretty damn good catch to make it happen.

But yeah.... Mahomes would get the Chiefs in FG range maybe at something staggering like 50%. Allen would be right up there.

Herbert and the Chargers... meh. And the Chiefs had been getting good pressure on him, too.

Never say never, but figured it was over... what Mahomes does in 30 seconds just isn't a thing that happens for other teams, no matter what unrelated thing happened a few minutes prior.

Herbert is a top 5 QB in the league. He can gain 40 yards in 30 seconds against this team's defense and has done it before in his career. He didn't do it this time (and certainly wouldn't do it the majority of the time), but you can't tell me that everyone watching that game didn't think it was a possibility based on what came before it.

Crazy to think if the season ended today, all three of our division rivals would be out. With all the massive additions they've made in order to catch up to KC, that's astounding.

Man what a turn around in the second half by the defense. Made dumb decisions, a bad turnover, all on the road against a good team, and still win. Just need to enjoy this era as much as we can. Ten years ago us wouldn't even comprehend it.
