Cavs were a bad team because or poor coaching, bad atmosphere, and youth.

The heat are still a good team. They have a ton more experience. The cavs have quite a few unknowns.

No doubt LeBron chose right to go with the young, ascending team. I don't think the cavs are ready yet, even if they add love.

Hootie 07-29-2014 07:51 AM

if the Heat win 30 games next year I'd be surprised

Wade is done.

Bosh might lead the league in 3s, though LMAO

mcaj22 07-29-2014 08:18 AM

they will win 40+ easy because the east is that shitty and they have more than enough experience.

Hootie 07-29-2014 08:22 AM

what does experience have to do with the fact Dwayne Wade is done? Chris Bosh isn't going to suddenly start dominating the paint now.

It's over. They should've let those two walk and started a new rebuild. I realize the east is shitty...but it's not like Dwayne Wade is suddenly going to be Dwayne Wade of 2006 again.

Once those small SG's start to go, they go. Wade had a good run but he's nowhere close to a star player anymore. Bosh makes me lol. Keep shooting threes their Chrissy.

Moving bosh back to the 4, I bet, helps immensely. This is probably a better team than the Heat team that made the playoffs before LeBron was there. Trust me, definitely not a heat fan, but I think their being in the east, they have at least a solid enough team. But they will barely compete with firing playoff teams, let alone Cleveland or Chicago, and especially let alone any West playoff team.

Hootie 07-29-2014 09:02 AM

Perhaps. I could most certainly be wrong. I realize the East is quite bad...I just don't see how Dwayne Wade is going to be the best player on any playoff team.

and Chris Bosh...well, what can I say. Either he simply couldn't play with LeBron or he is just a soft pussy who no longer is a good NBA player.

If Chris Bosh can go back to 20 and 10 maybe the Heat can get a 6 seed.

At least Miami "fans" will all disappear for a while.

RustShack 07-29-2014 02:15 PM

Bosh could be good again like his Toronto days without LBJ being the go to guy anymore.

No he can't. That is wades team. He is not an alpha. He was an alpha in Toronto because he was it. He's a follower period.

I don't think so. The wizards and hornets are easily the class of the southeast. The hawks are better too imo. They might get the 8th seed.

He's not a small SG.

Wade certainly wasn't what he once was, but he was still effective when he played until the Finals. It wouldn't be unheard of for him to come back with a FU season after LeBron left. Manu looked even more cooked in last year's playoffs, and he came back with a vintage Manu season this year. I think Bosh will be more well rounded, similar (but not as good) as his Toronto days. That said, I'm still not a fan. I'd guess with Deng they'll be a playoff team, but in the bottom four of the conference.

okcchief 07-29-2014 06:43 PM

Unless they have injury issues Miami will be a playoff team in the East. I think LeBron will do better with the supporting cast in Cleveland, but as a stand alone team without LeBron Miami is a better team because of experience. Wade is declining for sure but it wouldn't be surprising if he had a solid year. People overreact a little much.

Manu came off the bench all year. He only started a few games in the play offs when Danny Green was sucking.

Manu looked better this year because he played fewer minutes all year.

Knicks offered Amare, Shumpert, and Hardaway Jr for Love.

We wisely turned that down, of course.
